Redflags was born from a simple yet powerful idea: financial documents shouldn't be intimidating or confusing. Too many people sign contracts and agreements without fully understanding the implications, simply because the language is too complex and filled with jargon.

Our team came together during the inaugural SPARKS x Build for Good Community Hackathon, where we recognised the urgent need for a tool that could demystify financial documents. We believe that everyone deserves to understand what they're signing, regardless of their financial background.

Through the support of the Open Government Products (OGP) initiative, we've been able to develop this MVP that combines cutting-edge AI technology with user-centered design to make financial literacy more accessible.
